An Exploration of Yoga Session 1:

This is session 1 of a series of videos i’m putting out to offer support the dramatic changes we are seeing in the world at the moment, and how can Yoga can support this.
I’m sharing Yoga from many perspectives; The gifts it offers through movement, an exploration of deeper principles of nourishment, both from the orientation of an exploration of the Self, and somatic integration, and then how that then moves in the world. I’m offering it as a free resource and any donations would be greatly appreciated as its my life, my work, full time sharing and love. Please Paypal to yoga@rowancobelli.com

An Exploration of Yoga Session 2:

In this weeks Live Yoga Exploration Session 2,  we will look at surfing the inner challenges around stopping, and the dynamics of distraction, identity, archetypes and the roles we play in life.
In the yoga/asana part of the session I’d like to begin the exploration of the balance of ha/tha in asana, orientating to the various sensations we feel when we move and how to read them, and following a listening perspective to movement.
I’m offering it as a free resource and any donations would be greatly appreciated as its my life, my work, full time sharing and love. Please Paypal to yoga@rowancobelli.com

An Exploration of Yoga Session 3:

Facebook Live session 3. Friday 10th 9-11am. In this week we will look at meditation and meeting stillness from both restlesness and lethargy, and ‘meeting the edge in posture.’ The skill in meeting these in many areas simultaneously and its relationship to self grasping and image. The movement part will be gentle as I’d like to explore this in a way that could be useful to all. Over the weeks we will add more complexity to the postures.

An Exploration of Yoga Session 8:

Facebook Live Session 8
In this weeks session we will look at orientating to the experience of spaciousness and multiple ways to discover the experience of space through where we focus, tone and choices within the tensegrity of the structure. One space has been recognised and potency enhanced, the asana then informs from the inside how the body wishes to open, and its sequence. To me this is experienced as a flow that feels like a potential current almost like tides in the sea. If we miss moment to moment recognition we miss the subtleness of the ‘still point’ that arises all by itself is which lies an opportunity to notice just how much ‘falls away’ from the structures of belief and thought. There is an important element here often missed in the deep listening, and thats the absence of the listener.

An Exploration of Yoga Session 12:

Facebook Live Session 12

Each asana (posture) has many gifts that can be received. There are lines of energy all through the body that can be activated through extension, and it will take a subtle attitude of listening to be shown deeper levels of homeostasis within this. By abandoning the sense of inner control we are able to observe subtle changes and allow a response. This requires a moment to moment listening that can rest with the body, un-enticed by the commentary of the mind.
